I have been staying at Le Clos de l’Angley ever since Alexandra open this perfect travelling stop for my horses. My boss (Michael & Jack Whitaker) leave me to make my own plans & this is always my 1st
stop into Europe as it is perfect for the train & boat from Calais-Dover. It is just a short drive and it is nice and relaxing for the horses are set away from the busy roads.
There is a lot of easy parking and very easy to drive into & exit from the property.
What is very important for me that Alex and her team of workers want to be as accomodationg as they possibly can
be, even when it is a last minute thing (bad weather forthe boats). I think also a big advantage to this stable is that Alex has accomodation and bedrooms. If you are travelling in a small van/truck you can still get a good night of sleep & not have to leave your horses

I have now stayed at Le Clos de L’Angley on numerous occasions.  Alex is always there to greet you with a warm welcome and to make sure everything you need is available.  Stabling for the horses is first class and nice spacious stables await them. Extra straw and shavings are always available upon request and unlimited hay should you need it.

I have also had the opportunity to stay in the cottages which are well furnished, warm and welcoming.  The added bonus of tea and coffee making facilities is always appreciated after a long drive.  The pre-booked meals that are home cooked by Alex are superb for the hungry traveller.

I thoroughly recommend Alex and Le Clos de L’Angley to all my clients and fellow equestrian travel grooms.

Alexandra’s yard is a lovely private yard approximately 20 minutes from the train, the stables are a great size with plenty of bedding and very acomodating for all
genders of horses, they have very king and friendly staff and its a very peaceful place to rest. Hookup is available and they also have a shower and toilet on site. I would 100% recommend for those wishing to stop over !

Cameron and I have stayed with you on numerous occasions and every time are delighted by how accommodating you are. The stables are superb for the horses in a very peaceful environment so they have a good rest and when we have stayed in the bungalows ourselves they are absolutely fantastic so clean and everything you could wish for. We stay with when transporting horses in and out of Europe as Campbell Equestrian Horse Transport and whilst Cameron is driving for other clients. Additionally we have booked your services for our clients driving themselves to European competitions who have also been delighted with your service. A fantastic place for horses and drivers to have their rest.
